We recently completed a stunning front garden and driveway transformation for a client on Chorley Road, Standish. This project focused on kerb appeal, privacy, and a low-maintenance finish.
Project Overview
This project began with a clear brief: to create a front garden that looked impressive from the street while remaining easy to care for. Our team designed a contemporary layout with a large, resin bound driveway finished in an elegant Oyster Quartz blend bordered with crisp black resin for a sophisticated contrast.
To enhance the property’s entrance, we installed generous porcelain steps leading up to the front door. The steps were designed to be both functional and a statement piece, with a wide and inviting surface that complements the house’s architecture.
Stylish Boundaries & Planting
For added privacy and a seamless finish, we built split-face raised beds along the front and sides, planted with a mix of structured evergreens and ornamental grasses. Modern composite fencing provides a smart boundary line that never needs repainting.
As a finishing touch, we planted pleached trees behind the raised beds. These add vertical interest, privacy from the road, and a soft green backdrop that will mature beautifully over time.
The finished driveway and garden provide not just a parking area, but a real sense of arrival. The blend of hard landscaping, lush planting, and modern fencing creates a front garden that is welcoming, secure, and built to last.
