Transforming a Tricky Slope into Usable Space

This Leigh garden featured tight access and a significant slope, requiring careful design and construction. Our team created two distinct levels:

• A raised relaxation zone with porcelain steps and tiled raised beds, filled with architectural plants and low-maintenance 40mm artificial grass for year-round colour.
• A lower dining and entertaining area paved in elegant, large-format porcelain tiles, providing a practical space for seating and alfresco meals.

Feature Planting & LED Lighting

The planting scheme uses formal box balls, airy grasses, and pleached trees to add privacy and structure, while LED lighting discreetly highlights steps, beds, and terraces—making the garden atmospheric and usable even after dark.

The Result: Modern, Low-Maintenance Elegance

What was once an awkward, sloping space is now a beautiful, easy-care garden with zones for relaxation and entertaining. Stylish materials and a well-planned lighting scheme ensure this garden can be enjoyed day and night.
